Our English teacher,Mdm Flowrese had an assignment for us. This time, we were required to write about the similarities and differences of how celebration in Malaysia was celebrated in other country. Therefore, I would like to share with viewers how Christmas were celebrated in Malaysia and Australia.

In Malaysia, Christmas Day is a public holidays which falls on 25 December. Every house which celebrates Christmas will set up their Christmas tree and Christmas songs will be heard throughout the month. Families will gather together to have dinner on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning, Christians will go to church. After that, relatives and friends will be visiting each other. Visitors will be served with fruitcakes, biscuits, and etc. There will also be a group of choirs carolling from house to house

While in Australia, Christmas falls on summer. Christians will also set up their Christmas tree in their houses and Christmas songs will be heard. Some of the house exterior will be decorated with hundreds of lights, Santa Clause, or reindeer. Carollers usually will sing Christmas carols outdoors with a candle light in a large-scale concert style event. The Boxing Day Test, cricket test match, and the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race are two major sporting events traditionally commence on the day after Christmas Day in Australia.

I wish I could celebrate Christmas in Australia with my family. I would like to experience how Christmas was celebrated in other countries. That is for now.

I would like to share my experience creating my first blog with you all out there. During my English class we went to the computer laboratory to create our individual blogs. We waited for quite sometimes before a lab assistant came to open the computer laboratory. Initially, I was very excited about creating my own blog as it was my first time. I followed Madame Flowrese, our English teacher's instructions. Later I began to feel disappointed and impatient as the Internet was so slow that I kept on refreshing the registration page. It was fast when it came to filling in the particulars. However, after clicking the 'continue' button, things seemed to drag. I grew more and more impatient waiting for the next page. Beside, our class grew noisier and noisier each moment until I felt quite panicky. I decided to try the other computers and luckily, two of my classmates had finished creating their accounts. I felt relieved and happy after succesfully creating my own account in blogspot.com. I shall be updating my blog whenever I am free so that it will not be boring and out-dated. Do excuse me for any grammatical error. I hope viewers would enjoy my blog.
